Sony begins accepting pre-orders for 3D glasses

In early September, at the IFA 2013 international exhibition in Berlin, the Japanese company Sony officially announced the Sony HMZ-T3W virtual reality helmet. Now, a month later, the new product has become available for pre-order.

Sony has announced the start of accepting pre-orders for a unique gadget. However, so far only US residents can order the new product. For the wireless version of the Sony HMZ-T3W virtual reality glasses, they will have to pay $ 999. The wired modification will appear on the market at a later date.

Let me remind you that Sony HMZ-T3W is a helmet with two OLED displays with a working resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. They, according to the manufacturer, create the effect of a 75-inch LCD display, which is located at a distance of about 20 meters.

The helmet also has earpieces that create a 7.1 surround sound effect. The gadget allows you to watch 2D and 3D movies, listen to music and even play games.

The Sony HMZ-T3W helmet can be connected to a smartphone, tablet or computer via the micro-HDMI interface.
