One of the world's largest car makers Nissan decided to try its hand at the wearable electronics market with its first smartwatch. The novelty was named Nismo and was officially presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Nissan's new Nismo smartwatch is designed specifically for drivers. They will inform both the current state of the user, including his pulse, temperature and heart rate, and the parameters of the car - about speed, fuel consumption and distance traveled.
Nismo watches will work in conjunction with smartphones and on-board computers of cars. They are compatible with vehicles manufactured by Nissan, including models such as the 370Z, Juke and GT-R. The new gadget will be available in red and black.
The watch is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, which provides up to a week of autonomous work on a single charge. You can charge them via the microUSB port.
The date of the start of sales and the cost of the new Nissan Nismo smart watch are still unknown.
