Today the South Korean company LG has officially announced the new smartphone LG G Flex. The novelty is the world's second smartphone with a curved display, the first being Samsung's Galaxy Round communicator.
According to the manufacturer itself, the LG G Flex is the world's first true smartphone with a curved screen. It is equipped with a 6-inch HD touchscreen display manufactured using POLED (Plastic OLED) technology. It, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Round, is curved along the horizontal axis. Among the advantages of the display is the unique shape, which improves the sound quality during a call and thanks to it the smartphone fits comfortably in the hand. In addition, the screen features viewing angles that are comfortable for both gaming and watching videos.
The "heart" of the new smartphone is a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor with an Adreno 330 graphics subsystem, which, together with 2 GB of RAM, will provide high performance and speed. 32 GB of internal memory is provided for data storage, there is no memory card slot.
There are also two cameras available - 13-megapixel main and 2, 1-megapixel front. On the back of the LG G Flex, in addition to the camera, there are Rear Key controls, similar to the flagship smartphone LG G2.
In addition to the curved display, the new smartphone is also equipped with a curved 3500 mAh battery.
G Flex sales in South Korea will start in November this year.
