More than once, designers have presented concepts for transparent mobile devices. Already next year, one of these projects will turn into a real device.
Tel Aviv-based developer Jacob Eichbaum presented his new project - the world's first transparent tablet. It is equipped with a 7-inch translucent display that allows you to view both the image on the screen and what is behind the tablet at the same time. In addition, the back of the device also supports touch technology. The resolution of the unique tablet is quite modest - only 800 x 480 pixels.
Tablet Grippity operates on the basis of the Cortex-A8 processor and has 4 GB of internal memory, a slot for SD memory cards. He also received support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless interfaces. All the "stuffing" is located in the opaque compartment of the case.
The Grippity project has already started on the Kickstarter online fundraising platform. To date, the Israeli developer has managed to collect more than $ 22, 000 out of the $ 199, 000 needed to start mass production. You can support the project and order an unusual tablet here. The delivery of the device will begin only in October next year.
