It has long been rumored that Nokia is preparing its first tablet computer. And today the Finnish manufacturer has officially announced a new product.
The new tablet named Nokia Lumia 2520 runs on Windows RT 8.1 platform. It features a 10.1-inch Full HD (1080p) touchscreen display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The amount of RAM of the tablet is 2 GB, the built-in memory is 32 GB. Moreover, the latter can be expanded by another 64 GB by using microSD memory cards.
The Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet has a 6, 7-megapixel main and 2-megapixel front cameras, Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G / LTE modules. It also comes with a built-in 8000mAh rechargeable battery that will provide the device with up to 10 hours of battery life.
The body of the new tablet is made of durable polycarbonate plastic and has the following dimensions - 267 x 168 x 8.9 mm.
Tablet Nokia Lumia 2520 will go on sale before the end of the year at a price of about 500 US dollars. It will be available in red, blue, black and white. And along with the tablet, users will be able to purchase for $ 150 and an additional keyboard Power Keyboard, which has a separate battery and two USB connectors.
