Mag 1 is the smallest touchscreen laptop in the world

PC users remember well the time when tablets came to replace the rapidly gaining popularity of netbooks. However, following the trend towards the revival of some retro gadgets, the Chinese company Magic Ben has released a new device called the Mag 1.

Despite the dimensions of 20 x 14.6 x 1.8 cm, which is commensurate with an A5 sheet, and a weight of 700 g, the Mag 1 actually has more ports than the Apple Macbook - full-size USB 3.0, Type-C connector, card reader microSD, audio jack and micro-HDMI port.

The developers managed to "pack" some high-end components in Mag 1 - an Intel Core M3-8100Y Dual Core processor, 1 GHz, 16 GB of memory and 512 GB SSD, and its touchscreen 8, 9-inch IPS-display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels will compete with more famous brands.

Despite its small size, the mini-laptop comes with a 30 Ah battery, which the manufacturer claims will last up to seven hours.

Added to this are stylus support, a backlit keyboard, a fingerprint reader and an M.2 slot for SSD. Mag 1 can be purchased for $ 790.
