Scientists explain biblical miracles from a scientific point of view

The Bible states that God created the universe in 6 days. At the same time, scientists believe that this process lasted almost 14 billion years. Physicist Gerald Schroeder, a lecturer at the Jerusalem College of Jewish Studies, sees no contradiction here. In his opinion, the whole point is in the assessment of time, which, according to the theory of Albert Einstein, is relative. Therefore, from the point of view of the Almighty and man, time flows and is perceived differently.

Another biblical tradition says that God created man from clay. Research by biology engineers at Cornell University has shown that clay may well serve as a laboratory for breeding tiny molecules and chemicals that it absorbs like a sponge. Over billions of years, they mix with each other, forming proteins, DNA and, as a result, living cells.

We know from the Bible that the human race descended from Adam and Eve, created by God. The staunch atheist Richard Dawkins, in his book A River from Eden, uses a complex mathematical model to prove our common ancestor, a black woman who lived in Africa about 250, 000 years ago.

As for Adam, last year a group of British scientists in the course of research established the approximate age of Adam. He turned out to be 9, 000 years older than previously thought, and lived about 209, 000 years ago, that is, at about the same time as his chosen one of God.

Another event that still excites the minds of scientists is the passage of the Israelites under the leadership of Moses along the bottom of the suddenly parted Red Sea. Carl Drew, a researcher at the Center for Atmospheric Research in the United States, set out to establish the truth 5 years ago. He compiled a computer model, assuming that at the time of the transition, a strong east wind was blowing at a speed of more than 100 km / h, which, as a result, divided the waters in the Nile Delta.
