Chinese corporation OPPO Electronics has long been a leader in the development of fast charging solutions. Its engineers have created, for example, the Dash Charge system, which is used in OnePlus phones. And the latest of its innovations is the OPPO 125W system, which is by far the most advanced in the industry.
The system can fully charge the phone's 4000mAh battery in 20 minutes and up to 41% in five minutes. Thus, OPPO has surpassed its own high-speed charging record by about 10 minutes. OPPO 125 W charges the gadget simultaneously with three streams, while the current parameters reach 20V / 6, 25 A. To avoid overheating, the device's temperature is controlled by 10 built-in sensors.
The new charger uses a USB-C connector on both ends of the cable unlike previous OPPO USB-A VOOC chargers.
OPPO said it has also developed the fastest wireless charging system, the 65W AirVOOC. It can charge a 4, 000mAh battery in 30 minutes, which exceeds the capabilities of any wired charger today.
