Leitrim unveils the world's first virtual recording studio

SkywatcherVR Studio has developed a virtual reality application called "Instrument Studio VR". It is the first and so far the only system of its kind for recording music in virtual reality. More precisely, it is a complete copy of an ordinary recording studio, transferred to a virtual environment.

The app was written by Paul Cullen, who designed the first virtual reality drum kit three years ago. Since then, he has made great strides in this direction - so much so that he has managed to consistently transfer a number of musical instruments and related equipment into virtual reality. In this he was assisted by Ken and Karl Papenfuss, professional musicians from the Northern Irish band Relish.

The Instrument Studio VR app has already received high marks and even nominated for an award at the DreamlandXR festival, which will be held at the international exhibition CES 2020 next month.
