Quadrocopters built a 6-meter tower without assistance

Hundreds of workers are killed every year on construction sites. The cause of 40% of deaths is falls from a height. But, as it turned out, quadrocopters do an excellent job with high-altitude work, which the architect from Zurich suggested using instead of people.

Architect Ammar Mirjan showed how good drones are at building. A group of several drones took part in the demonstration project, which managed to build a tower of hundreds of blocks. The height of the structure was 6 meters.

After watching the video, it feels like quadcopters are made for construction. They clearly manage to coordinate actions with each other and they have enough power to lift building materials into the air.

Ammar Mirjan is now exploring the capabilities of drones in detail to assess the future prospects of the technology.
