One of the most amazing buildings in the world - Nord LB Building - is located in Germany, in the south of Hanover. It belongs to the largest German bank and, despite the absurdity of the architectural solution, is its headquarters.
The building was designed by the renowned architectural company Behnisch, Behnisch & Partners and commissioned in 2002. According to the designers, it was supposed to somehow reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which contributes to caring for the environment. The 70-meter glass and steel building covers an area of over 75, 000 square meters and employs 1, 500 employees. Despite the fact that many jokingly refer to this structure as a "stack of containers", the people of Hanover are proud of their attraction, and in 2002 the design of the building was awarded an architectural award.
