The dimensions of the Noise Machine are 5, 2 x 5, 7 x 1 cm, which allows you to carry it in your jeans pocket. It may be the smallest MIDI controller in the world - but it also boasts many features.
The Noise Machine's interface consists of 12 buttons, a slider to move through a range of seven octaves, and a programmable knob that can be used to control modulation or any customizable parameters. Up to 12 MIDI channels can be connected to the controller, and 12 notes can be split into two separate channels. There are also looper and sequencer modes.
Connectivity options include USB-C for charging the Noise Machine and Bluetooth LE for connecting to iOS, Android, Windows and Mac devices. According to the Noise Machine developers, the controller can be used with any large digital sound workstation, including Ableton Live. When connecting it to another device, the delay is only 7.5 to 10 milliseconds.
The Noise Machine can be ordered on Kickstarter for $ 70. If the financial campaign is successful, deliveries will begin in June 2021.
