"Liquid glass" promises to protect the smartphone screen from impacts no worse than bulletproof glass

Startup ProtectPax has begun raising funds to launch the production of a gel of the same name, which could potentially revolutionize the field of gadgets. According to the developers, this composition protects the screens of any devices, like durable tempered glass.

The gel contains titanium dioxide nanoparticles. Penetrating into the smallest cracks of the screens, they strengthen them from the inside. In this case, the glass acquires a strength similar to that of sapphire or ruby.

ProtectPax has a hardness of 9H on the Mohs scale (equal in hardness to corundum or tungsten carbide) - exceeding in this indicator, for example, a knife blade. The coating of it lasts a year and, among other things, protects gadgets from electromagnetic radiation and improves the performance of touch screens.

The gel is suitable for any device, including smartphones, smartwatches, glasses, laptops and even TV screens. One package of ProtectPax will cost users $ 40.
