Neoh headphones create virtual reality in sound space

The Neoh headphones are a clear example of the limit to sound perfection. 3D sounding software, sensors and even a gyroscope create quality that is comparable to a good home theater.

The creator of the sound gadget, the French company 3D Sound Labs, came up with an original futuristic design in the form of an octahedron connected to a mobile device by a Bluetooth system. To use the headphones, you need to download a special application that creates a surround sound effect that is significantly superior to conventional stereo headphones.

But this is not the limit for Neoh. The software is complemented by a motion sensor system, accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer. The system completely encapsulates the listener's head inside a virtual soundscape, determines his position as if he were surrounded by speakers.

Any turn or tilt of the head forces the headphones to adapt the sound construction algorithm in accordance with the change in position. According to experts, the Neoh headphones are a version of the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, but only in "sound" performance. The estimated cost of the gadget with software is $ 300.
