The popularity of aromatherapy as an effective method of alternative medicine is gaining momentum. Now on the market there are many aromatic oils, candles and incense that have a beneficial effect on the human nervous system and, allegedly, improve his well-being. But Aisen Karo from the USA decided to go further and presented a fragrant wristwatch.
The unique device, named Scent Rhythm, looks like a modern wristwatch, but instead of time it “gives out” aromas in small, subtle doses, adjusting to the human biorhythm. Smells will differ depending on the time of day. For example, in the morning the gadget will delight its owner with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and in the afternoon it will exude the smell of banknotes. This, as conceived by the author of the project, stimulates user activity and helps to maintain a cheerful mood throughout the day.
The aroma watch is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that will last for 24 hours of autonomous operation. It can be charged via the microUSB port.
While Scent Rhythm is at the prototype stage and requires some improvements. For this reason, it is too early to talk about its entry into the market.
